Thoughts & Reflections
Consider jotting down a few notes, perhaps in a journal or notebook.
- Have you set up a Ponderings Board? If not, might it be beneficial?
- Do you have things in your life that you’re curious about? If not, make a point daily to notice the world in ways you might not have tuned-in before. Notice the large expansive forests, to the smallest dew drops on a flower petal. What questions naturally arise?
- What are some fears that you notice come up for you during the day?
- Have you set daily goals for yourself? If so, how do you determine your daily goals?
- At the end of the day, do you feel like you've won the day? Why or why not?
- What are some questions that your child has identified as curiosities?
- How might you begin to help your child learn how to answer those questions?
- Are there books or videos that might help your child understand the history and terminology of the curiosity?
- Help your child set a few manageable, clear goals to start to learn about the topic.
- Consider bringing in an expert or having your child attend a local class on the topic once some basic skills are learned.
Feel free to review last week's recording on curiosities and goal-setting.
