Thoughts & Reflections
Consider jotting down a few notes, perhaps in a journal or notebook.
Flow is the state of mind, body, and spirit where we feel our best and perform our best.
We’ve focused on our mamas and pappas in these last few posts, as your wellbeing is essential to thriving as a family. In the Boldschoolers book and online course, we guide you in using these ideas with your children.
Here are some additional ideas to consider:
What are the biggest flow blockers in your day?
For example:
Meeting other people’s needs?
Too much to do? Too little time?
Multi-tasking and spreading yourself too thin?
What is your greatest flow trigger?
For example:
Clear goals that you’ve chosen?
Connection with others or with a meaningful activity?
The space to be creative?
Now, think about a typical day. What keeps you from finding the joy of flow? What things encourage that experience? When we can identify what encourages our best self and what distracts from it, we can start to design our day around positive experiences that bring us into flow.
Happy Boldschooling!
